Canfield Casino Canfield Casino and Congress Park is in Saratoga Springs, New York. It was the site of the former Congress Spring Bottling Plant and the former Congress Hall, a large resort hotel, which together brought Saratoga Springs international fame as a health spa and gambling site. After our initial meeting with Sarah, we knew that Mazzone's was the way to go for our wedding at the Canfield Casino. They know that place like the back of their hand. Sarah was there every step of the way leading up to our big day, answering our questions (no matter how small), reassuring our decisions, offering advice and making us feel like. Rainer's Gourmet provides catering at halls and event venues as well as private home locations. We are licensed, fully insured and provide catered bar services. Complete event planning, coordinating with rental sites and vendors is always part of our service. Over the past 25 years Lo Porto’s has done catering events all over the capital region. From intimate settings at Our restaurant to larger venues such as the Canfield Casino, NYS Museum, Hart Lounge, Comfort Inn & Suites (Schodack), The Mansion at Cedar Hill or the Pryne House. The size of the event is not a problem for Lo Porto’s.

Over the years I’ve dealt with a lot of caterers in the Saratoga Springs and Albany / Troy area.

Generally I have a lot of nice things to say about most of them except that the bride and groom don’t need help cutting the cake!

That being said one of the caterers we really enjoy working with here in Saratoga is Kim Klopstock’s The Lily and the Rose.

Beyond the fact that The Lily and the Rose understands that they are not the focus of the photographers they do a great job with a lot of attention to detail and style.

The Lily and the Rose is uniquely Saratogian and puts a certain personal touch to each wedding we have photographed.

I suppose the word I am looking for is “classy” but it sounds awkward with how personal and custom The Lily and the Rose’s service is.

I can’t count how many guests have raved to me about the Lily and the Rose’s signature Fillet Mignon with a giant prawn but I always am amazed at the frenzy that surrounds their appetizers.

On rare occasion Kim Klopstock will send me home with a doggy bag of the appetizers and I am in heaven!

Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to photograph a number of the Lily and Rose events and will be putting up several galleries.
