Welcome, Training Wheels Motorcycle Club is an OFF-ROAD FAMILY TIME-KEEPER ENDURO club in Southern California that hosts up to 10 Time-Keeper Enduro events per year in various Southern California OHV & SVRA areas for our members and their guests.

We currently have over 80 families, with riders from age 2 to 80+(OK, the 2 year olds are on E-Quads or Striders). With riding skills from the D class Beginner to the AA class Pro.

To top it off, we have a monthly newsletter and very active message board that keeps all of our members informed. Membership for the entire family is a bargain at $35 per year. Race entry fees are $5 for members and a $6 BLM fee.

TWMC is a family oriented club. We bring our kids, moms, dads, dogs, close friends & even our closest enemies out to enjoy the desert, eat meals together and of course ride Time-Keeper Enduros.

Saturday Riding events are all about the kids and young adults just learning to ride technical terrain. We put on Junior events for the kids (50cc size bikes and quads) to start teaching them to follow ribbon and trail markers where the most consistent lap times are the key to success (no time keeping allowed), Beginner / Sport events for the slightly older members to start teaching the importance of staying on your minute (only a clock required). Depending on the ages of our youngest members, we may also host e-quad &/or strider events. Kid’s crafts are a popular activity for those less interested in the motorized activities. Most event weekends include a Geo-cache event to go out and collect tokens that can be turned into a winning poker hand and occasionally a UTV Time-Keeper.

On Saturday evenings, we have a pot luck and all come together to hang out, eat, enjoy an adult beverage or two, and enjoy each other’s company. After dinner, we hold our monthly club meeting where we discuss any relevant issues, future events, new members and hand out awards from the previous event. It is a fun, safe family environment and we only accept people into the club that understand this family philosophy.

Not only is TWMC the best kept secret in SoCal for dirt bike fun, but it’s quite the bargain as well. A family can join the club and enter all 10 events per year for less than a couple of tickets to Disneyland. Individual members for less than 1 ticket to magic Mountain.
As a bonus, all family members and event participants receive a $10 Race Gas gift card from Rocky Mountain MC. A family of 2 that races 10 events per year will receive more in Race Gas cards then they spend on membership & entry fees.

Family

With TWMC, it’s all about the family time. This fundamental value is the first thing on our list for a reason. We love Time-Keeping, we love having a good time, we love the desert but we love our family time and atmosphere first and foremost. This club is all about the family time and sharing it with people that have the same values.

Time-keeping

Yes, family comes first but make no mistake about it; we take our Time-Keeping seriously. We put on a monthly club ride with challenging courses for Novice-X (1 loop), Novices, 50+, 65+, Amateur, Expert and top level Masters riders. We all ride the same loop but offer various “splits” with more difficult sections and extra mileage for the more advanced riders.

We also take trips together, especially in the hotter summer months. Semi-annual trips to Kennedy Meadows and Utah, 2 annual dual sport rides into the local mountains starting in Yucaipa and Hesperia, occasional MTB rides in the local mountains and up to Mammoth. A great time is had by all and again, family and friendship is the focus.
